IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING We have recently had an instance of the "Crypto Locker, Ransom Ware" infection via a spam email. If the attachment is opened and run, it starts to "encrypt" all the documents on the C: drive and the Network drives.
The documents can only be accessed if you pay the ransom of $300US. Unless you have a good backup, you cannot get your files back.
Do NOT open any .ZIP attachments in emails. If you have customers or suppliers who send you ZIPped attachments, ask them to change their processes. Anti-virus software cannot scan .zip attachments. The most common spam emails are from UPS, FedEx, Aust Post, ATO, Telstra or the Banks
